THRILL seekers in the region are gearing up for the opening of a new super-fast rollercoaster at Flamingo Land later this year – that promises to be an exciting adventure for whoever dares go on the ride.
Coming to the theme park in Malton, North Yorkshire, very soon, the newest addition will be named ‘Sik’ after a well-known world fashion brand with local links.
It’s understood that the £18m ‘Sik’ project will imminently opening, after footage was released from Flamingo Land that showcased the first ride, which features GoPro clips of someone rattling down the rails of ‘Sik’.

Explaining the decision for the new collaboration between Flamingo Land and the fashion brand, the theme park said: "We are proud to announce that we are working with our great friends at Sik Silk, a well-known world fashion brand with very local links.
