Twitter is experiencing a massive outage in Europe and America.

The cause of the technical issue that began shortly after 7:00 PM is unknown.
According to web monitor Down Detector, this issue affects users on both sides of the Atlantic.
The company's mobile phone app was also experiencing a significant slowdown.
According to his Netblock on internet tracker, the platform is "experiencing an international outage."
The issue does not appear to be "related to country-level Internet disruption or filtering," he said.
A Twitter spokesperson confirmed the issue was affecting the site, but did not provide further information.
The social media site last experienced a major technical issue lasting nearly 3 hours in mid-July.
Millions of users were unable to access their accounts, post new tweets, or update their timelines.
It was notorious for shutting down in the early years before becoming a more stable platform.
Twitter said he suffered another major outage in February, attributed to a software glitch.
