Tottenham vs Chelsea LIVE: Premier League team news, line-ups and more today

Tuchel hopeful Rudiger can agree contract extension with Chelsea

Follow all the action as Tottenham Hotspur host rivals Chelsea FC in the Premier League this afternoon.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side sat top of the table heading into the international break but have lost momentum alarmingly in the last week. Their perfect start to the season came to a crashing halt against Crystal Palace last weekend, when Japhet Tanganga’s red card cued a 3-0 thrashing at Selhurst Park. That result was followed by an unconvincing 2-2 draw against Rennes in the Europa Conference League, during which both Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn suffered injuries.

Chelsea, however, are hardly suffering from a shortage of confidence. Thomas Tuchel’s side have only dropped two points so far this season, in a fiery clash against Liverpool, and opened their Champions League campaign with victory over Zenit during the week. What’s more, Romelu Lukaku is in seemingly unstoppable form, having scored four goals in as many appearances since sealing his return to west London. The Blues have history on their side, too, having lost just one of their last seven meetings with Spurs.

Follow all the action below after the conclusion of West Ham vs Manchester United:

West Ham 1 - 1 Man Utd

57 mins: The commentators are starting to talk about European night fatigue concerning West Ham. Since the restart they’ve not looked like the same team. Manchester United have dominated possession and penned West Ham into their own half.

Or maybe not. Rice moves the ball clear and slots it up to Fornals. He plays Bowen into the box on the counter-attack and the forward gets to the ball first. He cuts inside and shoots but has the effort blocked.

The Hammers just reminding Man Utd how dangerous they still are.

West Ham 1 - 1 Man Utd

54 mins: Another misplaced pass, this time from Cresswell, knocks the ball straight out for another Manchester United corner. They need to sharpen up quickly or else the visitors will punish them.

Not from this corner though as the familiar combination of Shaw into Maguire sends the ball wide of goal.

West Ham 1 - 1 Man Utd

51 mins: West Ham have given away a few balls close to their own penalty area at the start of this half which David Moyes won’t be happy about. Shaw swings another corner high into the box and Maguire wins the header but sends it wide of the near post.

SAVE! Fabianski denies Ronaldo!

48 mins: Pablo Fornals makes an error by giving the ball away to Fernandes deep in his own half. Fernandes slips it into the box where Ronaldo collects the ball. He’s just got the goalkeeper to beat but Fabianski flies off his line and closes down the shot. The ball whacks Fabianski in the chest and rebounds wide of the far post!

West Ham 1 - 1 Man Utd

Second half: West Ham get the game back underway but a long ball up the pitch is won by Varane and Man Utd take over possession.

West Ham 1 - 1 Man Utd

Manchester United have won 32 points from losing positions since the start of last season, which is more than any of team in the Premier League.

Can they finish the job against West Ham in the second half or will the Hammers get back in front?

West Ham 1 - 1 Man Utd

Said Benrahma opened the scoring for West Ham before Cristiano Ronaldo found the back of the net again for Manchester United. The game is delicately poised at the London Stadium.

Half-time: West Ham 1 - 1 Man Utd

45+2 mins: A good first half comes to a close at the London Stadium. Once again Manchester United looked shaky and undisciplined and West Ham took advantage. Jarrod Bowen has been pacey and strong up top and his pass into Said Benrahma set up the first goal.

The visitors responded through Cristiano Ronaldo after another lovely cross from Bruno Fernandes picked out his countryman in the area. Ronaldo has four goals in three games since rejoining United.

West Ham 1 - 1 Man Utd

45 mins: Pogba receives the ball off McTominay and rolls into the middle of the final third. He’s not got many options so hits one from range and wins a corner as the ball deflects behind.

Two minutes of added time to play.
