SSPCA seeks information after cat dumped in bag in East Kilbride

The Scottish SPCA is seeking information after an abandoned male black cat was found in a rucksack in East Kilbride.

A Scottish animal welfare charity was alerted to the incident after a member of the public found the cat in the Murray region on August 9.

Her SPCA inspector in Scotland, Dawn Murray, said: Black, male, domestic short-haired breed.

"The civilians who found him took him home to keep him safe while they waited for our help.

"Unfortunately, He was not microchipped and was not wearing a collar when found.
