Proud bargain hunter shows off her epic cut-price swimming pool from Costco but it’s totally divided opinion

MAKE A SPLASH

WITH the weather heating up and many of us spending more time outside, it seems as though lots of people are looking for bargain buys to glow up their garden and keep themselves entertained.

One beaming bargain hunter, Michelle Knight, bought herself a huge swimming pool to keep her kids busy for Summer.

But not only is Michelle’s pool huge - but she got a great deal on it too.

The savvy shopper proudly took to Facebook yesterday to show off her epic new swimming pool, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting in the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, which has 2.2million members, the thrilled shopper explained that she got a huge discount on her Costco swimming pool.

Michelle explained: “Was meant to be £700 in Costco but yesterday we got it on offer for £479.

“18ft long, 9ft wide and 4 ft deep.

“Comes with solar heat mat, sand filter, chlorine dispenser, cover and ladders.

“We will have some fun this year.”

But social media users were left divided at the Costco pool - while many thought it was a great deal and were impressed with Michelle’s buy, others weren’t so convinced.

One user noted: “Fantastic!”

A second agreed: “Super jealous! Looks fab! Enjoy your summer”

Whilst another posted: “Wow, what a great deal you got there.”

But at the same time, Facebook users pointed out the cost of filling the pool, asked where Michelle would dry her clothes due to the pool taking up the majority of the garden and many also noted that it would kill her grass.

One person said: “Imagine the water bill.”

Another added: “Let's hope it doesn't burst or your house will be flooded.”

A third commented: “Where are you going to dry your clothes?”

Someone else joked: “Might be next year for your fun how you supposed fill it? Where I live it takes nearly two days [to] fill a pool, water pressure [is] rubbish.”

Whilst another chimed in: “That'll kill the grass lol.”
