As England fans all over the country celebrated Harry Kane's goal against Germany in the Euros on June 29 last year, a tragedy was unfolding at The Crown pub in Cowley, London.
Charlie Naughton, 29, collapsed during the ecstatic scenes at the close of the round-of-16 knock-out tie. The bricklayer from Hayes was sadly pronounced dead in hospital at 9.20pm.
An inquest into his passing heard that he was "fit and well" when he died, with the pathologist saying Charlie died of "sudden adult death".

17 months on, England are competing in the World Cup in Qatar - their first international tournament since the Euros - which Charlie's cousin Chloe Wise says will be "difficult" for the family.
However, she said it would be a mixture of emotions given that Chelsea-mad Charlie would've relished watching these games.
Chloe told the Daily Star: "It's hard to explain because Charlie loved the football, so we get a lot of comfort in knowing he would’ve loved this time.
"And as I said back then when it happened, the only comfort we had is that a lot of people say someone was in the wrong place at the wrong time when they pass away - Charlie wasn’t. He was where he should’ve been.
"With the World Cup - as hard as it is - so many people think of us at this time and it’s so touching."
Charlie's friends find it difficult to return to the pub where he passed, and this year they are joining his family at Charlie's mum's house for the games - which is where they'll all be tonight (Tuesday, November 29) as England face Wales.
The family have had shirts made with "Charlie" and "29" on the back. They are also encouraging people to commemorate Charlie during the 29th minute of England's games, as they did throughout the Euros.
Ahead of England's opener against Iran, Chloe wrote on Instagram: "As you support and celebrate England through their journey at the Fifa World Cup 2022 we as a family would like to ask you to raise a glass to Our Darling Boy Charlie.
"As England kick-start their World Cup journey today we ask you to join us on the 29th minute to remember our darling boy with a blue heart and three lions on his chest."
Chloe told us: "During the Euros we did a 29th minute at every game, which we then got everyone to record.
"The videos that we had were just unbelievable... there were pubs just full of people cheering his name."
The aim, she said, is to "keep that kind of memory going throughout the games and throughout the tournament for him".
Chloe explained that tonight's match will be the "hardest" for the family as it falls on Tuesday 29, the same date Charlie tragically passed last year in June.
But since that day, Charlie's family and friends have managed to make the best of their harrowing situation.
There have been two incarnations of the Charlie Naughton Cup, with his family and friends facing off in a Chelsea vs England charity football match.
Last year's raised over £14,000 for SADS UK, this year's raised over £10,000.
Other fundraising efforts have contributed to defibrillators for local pubs and working men's clubs, with one set to be installed at AFC Hayes - which hosted the Charlie Naughton Cup - at the start of next year.
There are also tentative plans to set up a foundation in Charlie's name at some point in the future.
Speaking of the reaction to Charlie's passing, Chloe added: "We just want to thank everyone for the support that’s been continuous throughout this.
"We do appreciate it from everybody, because the response we’ve had has been the only thing that’s really got everyone through."
