What Hundreds of complaints have been sent to Glasgow City Council regarding the venue, and licensing officials have found that a performance by indie dance band Hot Chip last Friday violated approved decibel limits.

A check of his three-day festival last weekend, featuring the likes of Kelis and Groove Armada, found no restrictions were violated, but organizers decided to lower the bass level. Agreed.

A spokesman for Glasgow City Council said:

"Our environmental health team was on site both nights this weekend to monitor levels. On Friday night we were able to confirm that the organizers had violated the terms of the license.

"However, a report was filed with Licensing regarding this matter and Environmental Health has issued a statement regarding the situation regarding the venue. We will continue to engage with organizers and internal partners.”

There were 95 complaints.
