Lorraine Kelly reacts to Vicky Pattison's Scottish accent leaving MTV star red faced

Vicky Pattison was left red faced today after TV presenter Lorraine Kelly reacted to her Scottish accent.

During a recent interview with Kate Ferdinand, for the latest episode of Vicky's 'The Secret To' podcast, Kate noticed her pal's Geordie lilt swap to Scots.

In the clip which has since went viral, Kate said: "Oh, your accent just changed then!" And many people pointed out she sounded like another very familiar TV personality, Scots ITV star Lorraine Kelly.

And on today's (Wednesday) episode of GMB, Vicky joined Susanna Reid and Ed Balls to talk about appearing in parliament in her role as a patron for the National Association for Children of Alcoholics (NACOA).

Vicky has been raising awareness about alcoholism and last year, she fronted Channel 4 documentary Alcohol, Dad And Me which looked at the impact of alcohol on her dad's life.

After speaking about the important topic, Susanna mentioned Vicky's switch to Scots and her likeness to Lorraine.

Vicky said to Susanna and Ed: "I don't think it's that bad, do you think it's terrible?"

Susanna replied: "It's lovely and do you know what? We have Lorraine right here now!

Vicky put her hands over her face and said: "Lorraine, I'm really embarrassed!

Lorraine replied: "Don't be silly it was good! I thought that was lovely and the work that you're doing is incredible. I'm so proud of you, for everything you're doing Vicky, it's absolutely wonderful."

She added: "You can do it in any accent you like! You're getting an amazing message across and I think it's fantastic, good for you."
