On June 12, 2014, the pair welcomed their first child together.
Kelly's daughter River Rose is the first of her two children and the third of Brandon's total of four kids.
On April 12, 2016, the couple expanded their family even further with the arrival of their second child together.
Six years following their son Remington's birth, Kelly and Brandon hit splitsville and their divorce was finalized on March 8, 2022.
Regarding her life with her daughter River, Kelly told PEOPLE: "I love that River is very bold, she’s progressive for three.
"I don’t want my daughter to be a pushover when she’s older. So that’s an awesome thing, it’s an awesome aspect of her character.
"At the same time, you also want to have an adult that doesn’t think they’re right all the time."
The Voice coach added: "She will run a company one day because there’s no way she’s gonna work for anyone.
"She does not heed advice very well. She’s just very ballsy, which is awesome."
While Kelly describes River as "bold" and "progressive," the talk show host describes her son Remington as "a sensitive soul."
