A sister whose 'kind-hearted' brother lost his life said his death was the reason other men dealt with his mental healthI hope it helps.
According to her sister Danielle, Kieran Huntington took her own life last week despite looking "fine."
Danielle says she was dealing with ongoing mental health issues after her 25-year-old Kieran lost his mother when she was 17. He himself has relationship problems and rather than seek help from his family and friends, he moved into a shared house.
And now, 29-year-old Daniel wants to use his family's tragedy to give men who are facing difficult situations a voice.
Birmingham Live reports that on Sunday 14th August, alarms were raised for the well-being of Kieran as his loved ones worried about him.
Daniel, who is from Walsall and now lives in Stafford, said: As for where he lives, he felt that as a man he should be responsible for himself, so he moved to a share house.
"Our mother died when he was 17. He never sought help to recover from our mother's death.
I kept walking."
Daniel hopes his brother's death will shed light on mental health and encourage other men who are struggling to seek help.{45
"Men should be more open, talk more, express their feelings more, be less confined," she said. Also, don't bottle it up, just talk.
Kieran was a boyhood Liverpool fan and his hometown club. He also played soccer and enjoyed fishing.
Daniel said that Kieran was a popular young man with "hundreds of friends", adding: I've talked to a lot of people and even recently he said he was always laughing and joking...he had hundreds of friends. '
