Now, actor Aidan has confirmed that the final scene of the show has aired, but the case has been resolved. He hinted that he might come back if the court.

He said: Let's wait for the phone to ring.

"While it's very rewarding in terms of being able to play through a lot of drama and this very intense arc, it's also a very difficult arc. We do it in terms of redemption. It's very dark.

Lewis says fans will have to "wait and see" if he returns. I admit that it does.

He added to Digital Spy: "If brought to court, it is attractive." I know from my conversations with Survivors Manchester that litigation can be tricky and complicated when you bring up the evidence.

Actor Max Borden previously shared the importance of such storylines to raise awareness of horrific crimes.

"Along with some great charities and some very moving survivors of male sexual assault in the UK, we want to be as truthful as we can." I hope we can raise awareness and understanding of a topic that is rarely brought up," he said of the storyline. 80} Kate Oates, head of serials for the BBC, said in a synopsis: "Ben endures a traumatic period after witnessing a homophobic attack on Callum that brings back painful memories of losing Paul.

"As a result, Ben lost his way in life...that's when he met Lewis. Ben found Lewis attractive and was forced to marry him in ways Callum couldn't understand." I think of him as someone who understands. When Lewis crosses the line and rapes Ben, it's an abuse of trust."
