Earlier this week, the singer track "29" from "Cool for the Summer" appears to be dealing with an age gap with ex-partner Wilmer Valderrama.
In a recent interview with Apple MusicLovato remained tight-lipped about the meaning of the song, but the lyrics were written at the age of 12.
The Independent asked a Valderrama rep for comment.
