Years of panic attacks over Deborah James' death stopped after learning she was dying

Deborah James revealed in her posthumous book that she had suffered death-related panic attacks for 20 years.

The late Dame, who was only 40 when she tragically lost her battle with stage 4 terminal bowel cancer in June, said while she was dying, " I wrote a book called How to Live When You're Dead.

In an excerpt revealed by the Sun, the former BBC presenter said he had "nearly stopped living" It was revealed that he was suffering from "anxiety".

She added that she often wakes up in the middle of the night "already obsessed with episodes", believing her body is dying.
