A woman who claims that her boyfriend cheated on her has revealed how she discovered the truth.

Megan Marie shared the 'incriminating' photo online that she reports led to the shocking discovery that her partner was 'cheating' on her.

She went viral on the social media site TikTok after sharing the uncomfortable moment, with the video garnering up to 1.3 million views.

Within the video, she imitated messaging her boyfriend to ask what he was up to, and he responded to say he was watching the Olympics 'with the boys', reports The Mirror.

However, the photo he sent suggested something different - prompting a confused Megan to ask the question: "Do I have dumb written on my forehead?"

In the reflection of a mirrored cabinet she spotted a glass of red wine, as well as a hydro flask, and a woman's knee.

And some books which she thought belonged to a woman, including one on the history of prestigious fashion brand Chanel.

One commented: "I can already hear the excuses," while another added: "He really thought that would work too, who gave him the audacity to be so potentially unaware?"

A third asked: "Why do they send pics to incriminate themselves?"

But others defended the man - as they rightly pointed out he could be at a friend's house, who lives with a female partner.

"Maybe it's his friend's wife or girlfriend?" pointed out one viewer.

"Hope one of his friends has a girlfriend and they live together," added another.

Another said: "I don't get it. Why would you make that assumption from this photo?"

One man commented: "This looks like how I decorated my old apartment."
