The Real Madrid players trained at Anfield on Tuesday evening ahead of their Champions League tie against Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp and his team are due to welcome Zinedine Zidane and the La Liga outfit to Merseyside on Wednesday night for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Much of the build-up to the game, from Real’s perspective, has been about injuries and which players may or may not be fit.

Zidane confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Federico Valverde is '100 percent fit', after there were fears he picked up a knock in the weekend’s victory over Barcelona in El Clasico.

A 15-minute video broadcast by Real on their various social media platforms just showed the players taking part in a rondo session.

Valverde was taking part in the session, as was Toni Kroos who was also a doubt after being replaced in the win over Barcelona due to being in discomfort.

Elsewhere, there was no Lucas Vazquez at Anfield, who is out for the season with a knee injury he sustained at the weekend.

The video showed the full squad taking part in the rondo session, so it is unclear at this time who is likely to be included in Zidane’s starting line-up and who isn’t.
