Manchester City will be looking to keep the pressure on Liverpool and Chelsea with a win on Saturday, as they travel to the south coast to face Brighton in the Premier League
City ran riot in their last match, with goals from the likes of Joao Cancelo, Riyad Mahrez, Kyle Walker and Cole Palmer handing City a 5-1 win in the UEFA Champions League against Club Brugge - their second win so far in the completion.
Their last outing in the Premier League saw Pep Guardiola's side comfortably beat Burnley 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium - with City keeping their sixth clean sheet in the Premier League this season.
Man City have only lost once in their previous nine meetings against Brighton, that one-time being defeat in this fixture last time out, where Brighton came from two goals down to win 3-2.
Ferran Torres remains the only unavailable player for Saturday, with the forward expected to be out for 10-12 weeks with a foot injury.
Ilkay Gundogan and Oleksandr Zinchenko could start with the duo back in contention after their respective injuries, and both Gabriel Jesus and Ederson will be fully fit after missing the last Premier League match due to the timings of their matches with Brazil on international duty.
So, what line-ups will both teams select for their Premier League clash? And, what could the final score be?
We used FIFA 22 to get a score prediction for Brighton vs Man City on Saturday and this is what happened...
Brighton vs Man City score predicted by FIFA 22 simulation
We used kick-off mode in FIFA 22, but didn't select a team to control, we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a score prediction.
For City, we predict that Guardiola's side could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Zinchenko; De Bruyne, Rodri, Gundogan; Jesus, Sterling, Foden.
As for the visitors, we predict that Graham Potter's side could set up in a 3-5-2 formation, with their line-up as follows: Sanchez; Duffy, Dunk, Burn; Veltman, Gross, Bissouma, Lallana, Cucurella; Maupay, Trossard.
Man City took control of the game in the rainy conditions the simulation threw out, and it was City who took an early lead through Phil Foden.
Foden was picked out smartly by Raheem Sterling after some great build-up play down the right from Jesus and Walker, and Sterling's through ball to Foden was hit first time into the top right corner, making it 1-0 to City in deserved fashion.
City's high-line and energy in midfield saw them keep the majority of the ball in the first half as Brighton chased without succeeding, and Foden then grabbed his and City's second of the game right before half-time with an acute finish.
Sterling was involved heavily once again, this time using his close control and skill to weave in and out of a couple of challenges before threading the ball through to Foden. The English international struck the back of the net with a wonderful first-time finish, slightly dinking the ball over Brighton's keeper to make it 2-0.
The game then looked over just after the second half started, with Gundogan blasting home to make it 3-0.
The German midfielder is known for his late surges into the box, and Gudogan did it once again, this time towards the back post as he latched onto Foden's smart flick and fired past Sanchez into the far corner.
The goals then kept coming for City, and it was Jesus who got in on the act this time with a wonderful finish.
The Brazilian, now more central after the introduction of Mahrez on the right, picked up the ball outside the box and curled an effort towards the bottom left corner using the Brighton defender as a shield to block the 'keeper's view, and his strike nestled into the corner to put the visitors 4-0 up.
Brighton pulled a goal back from a corner when Shane Duffy headed past Ederson at his near post, but it was nothing more than a consolation goal as Jesus grabbed his second and City's fifth in the 90th minute.
Substitute Jack Grealish did what he does best on the left as he zig-zagged past the Brighton full-back before drilling a ball across goal, and the Englishman's cross evaded everyone, reaching Jesus at the back post who drilled it first time into the net, confirming all three points for City in a dominating win.
FIFA 22 predicted score: Brighton 1-5 Man City
