Vicky Pattison was left in tears and overcome with emotion as she and other half Ercan Ramadan adopted a rescue dog and met him for the first time.

It was in May that former Geordie Shore star and I'm A Celebrity winner Vicky informed Instagram fans of her and Ercan's plans to be parents to a dog that had been rescued from smugglers, writing: "I think I may have mentioned before that I want a dog? I mean just once or twice.

"Anyway, I’m so happy to be able to tell you guys that my dream is coming true and I’m going to be a doggie mam!!!

What happened to England's famous WAGs from World Cup 2006

"Myself and @ercan_ram have been working with the lovely guys at @dogstrust to try and find the perfect doggo match for us and we HAVE!!! And we get to bring him home next month!!! Argh!! I can barely contain my excitement!!"

Last week, Vicky was brimming with excitement as she got to enjoy a FaceTime call with their new dog, Milo, admitting that she 'totally lost her s**t" at seeing him.

And then on Friday, the day finally came for Vicky and Ercan to meet Milo and she uploaded a video of the big moment to her Instagram.

The clip saw Vicky crouched with arms wide open as Milo, who was intercepted from smugglers along with his litter mates before going into the Dog's Trust's care, came running into the room and she soon buried him into her arms, remarking: "Oh I love you! Who's a good boy?"

She added: "We love you so much already!" as Ercan reacted: "He's a good boy isn't he?"

Captioning the adorable video on her Instagram grid, Vicky wrote: "Two things, yes my puppy

voice is painful… I can only apologise for being a complete creep when it comes to pups.

"Secondly, yes I am a total f***y and this moment made me cry but honestly I have waited for this my whole life and I am just so happy that Milo is finally ours."

And then paying tribute to the people at the Dogs Trust who'd helped bring Milo into her life and for all the hard work they've done at rescuing and looking after dogs, she added: "I want to say a huge Thankyou to Gabby, Meg and the rest of the amazing team at @dogstrust who have been completely incredible throughout this entire process and I can not recommend adopting through them enough."
