An urgent search is underway to find a missing woman from Blackpool.

Police are urgently trying to locate Anna Chaika, 36, after she disappeared early this morning (September 18).

She was last seen at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, say police.

Officers believe Anna left the hospital at around 1am wearing a long sleeve white shirt, dark tracksuit trousers, yellow socks and possibly a light coloured cardigan.

She is described as being around 5ft 7ins with short mousey blond hair.

Police are asking for help from the public in finding her and are asking anyone with information to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "Have you seen Anna Chaika, 36, from Blackpool? We are urgently trying to locate her after she was last seen at Blackpool Victoria Hospital early this morning (Friday, September 18th).

"It is thought she left there at around 1am and was wearing a long sleeve white shirt, dark tracksuit trousers, yellow socks and possibly a light coloured cardigan. She is described as being around 5ft 7ins with short mousey blond hair.

"If you have seen Anna or know where she is, please call 01253 289112/ 604290 or failing that 101 quoting incident reference 0064 of September 18th."
