Renfrewshire police are appealing for information to help trace a missing vulnerable 77-year-old man.

Alan Gray was last seen about 9.10am this morning, in the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.

He is described as white Scottish, around 5ft 10, with grey coloured hair and facial hair.

Alan is believed to be wearing flower patterned shorts, a long sleeve grey top and slippers.

Sergeant Megan Logan said: “We are appealing for anyone who has seen Alan to get in touch with us as soon as possible.

“We have been checking CCTV and speaking to those in the area to try and find Alan as quickly as possible. He is not dressed for the colder weather and as time goes on we are becoming increasingly concerned for him.”
