Two men are in hospital and two others have been arrested after cops raced to an Edinburgh flat last night.
Police were alerted to a disturbance in a flat on Lochend Road South in the capital at around 10.20pm on Thursday night, June 17.
Two men, aged 51 and 46, were rushed to Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
In a clip sent to the Daily Record, cops descended on the street late last night with at least four police cars dispatched to the scene and an ambulance.
A resident added that "a lot more police" turned up.
The force has confirmed two men, aged 54 and 53, have now been arrested in connection with the incident and an investigation has been launched.
Police remain at the scene this morning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of two men being injured following a disturbance at a flat on Lochend Road South in Edinburgh shortly after 10.20pm on Thursday, 17 June.
"The men, aged 51 and 46, were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment to serious injuries.
"Two men, 54 and 53, have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing."
