Mark your calendars, because Netflix’s hit dating show, Too Hot to Handle is finally back. Here’s everything you need to know about season two ahead of its return later this month.
The hit reality show sees a group of sexy singletons living together in a villa as they compete in challenges while trying to find love. The goal: a share of the $100,000 prize pot.
The catch is that in order to win, they must keep their hands off one another and try to find deep connections instead of summer flings.
Here’s everything you need to know about season two of Netflix’s answer to Love Island.
Where is Too Hot to Handle filmed?
While the first season was filmed in a luxury resort in Mexico, this year’s crop of contestants were flown to the Turks and Caicos Islands for a summer of love (or just lust) during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The third season has already been confirmed and was also filmed on the Turks and Caicos Islands.
When is Too Hot to Handle on Netflix?
Netflix has confirmed that the second season will feature 10 episodes, with the first four episodes set to drop on the streaming service on Wednesday, June 23.
The remaining six episodes will follow a week later on June 30.
What is Too Hot to Handle?
The popular dating show follows a group of singles as they try to make romantic connections with their fellow islanders in order to win the prize money as a group.
The new series will see 10 contestants attempt to follow Alexa-style virtual assistant Lana’s strict rules of no kissing, no heavy petting and absolutely no sex.
Those who fail to stick to the rules will incur heavy fines, lowering the prize fund for the whole group. In season one, a single kiss would cut the prize money by $3,000, with heavier fines for more serious “offences”.
As with the first season, expect plenty of twists and surprises along the way as the contestants try (and fail) to find true love.
Too Hot to Handle will return to Netflix for a second season on Wednesday, June 23.
