Coronavirus cases are continuing to fall across England as we enter a third week of lockdown.

Hull's coronavirus infection rate is well below the England average at 204.0 cases per 100,000 people. The current average in England is 437.8.

A total of 530 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the seven days to January 19 - down 251 from the week before, a 32 per cent fall.

In the East Riding, the infection rate stands at 174.7 after 596 cases were found in the past week. It is a fall of 83 cases compared to the week before, a 12 per cent reduction.

The area of Hull with the highest infection rate is Longhill, which stands at 315.9 although it is falling.

Stoneferry and Sutton Fields is the best area with an infection rate of 112.7.
