Buses to a Bransholme shopping centre were suspended on Thursday night because of safety fears over anti-social behaviour there, police have said.
Stagecoach buses temporarily stopped services going past North Point over hooligans who were causing a nuisance, although police have failed to elaborate on what exactly they were doing.

It comes after the bus company tweeted on Thursday saying services would not be stopping at the shopping centre "due to concerns for passenger and driver safety".
Buses have since been reinstated.
Humberside Police said on Friday this was due to reports of anti-social behaviour. Neighbourhood Policing Inspector Mark Peasgood said: “We received a report of anti-social behaviour along Goodhart Road yesterday evening.
“Any behaviour of this kind is unacceptable and enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved.
“We are aware of reports of anti-social behaviour in the north Hull area over the last couple of weeks and we understand the concerns and frustrations within the local community.
“Additional resources have been added to the area over the last few weeks and this is to continue to deter those behaving in an anti-social manor and to take action against those committing crimes."
Insp Peasgood added: “Anti-social behaviour is completely unacceptable and action is being taken, with local partners also involved, as we understand the impact that these crimes can have on local communities.
“Our neighbourhood policing team have been out and about in the area engaging with members of the public.
"We have also been holding our street surgeries and have been conducting Humber Talking surveys where we can speak directly to residents about the issues they face in their community.
“Members of the public are encouraged to report any suspicious, anti-social or criminal behaviour that they witness. You can speak to our local policing team or through 101, this information helps us to target our resources as effectively as possible.”
A Stagecoach spokeswoman said: "There was a local incident yesterday in Hull, which meant we had to divert buses for a short period, but normal service has now resumed."
