THE Big Bang Theory fans have spotted yet another plot hole in reference to a comment Sheldon makes whilst watching Gremlins.
Now that we have all the time in the world to watch our favourite programmes during lockdown, many fans of the much-loved sitcom are doing just that, and have pointed out many errors on the show that don't sit very well with them.
In season three, during episode The Pirate Solution, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and the rest the gang decide to watch the 1984 classic, Gremlins.
The movie follows the adventures of a boy called Billy (Zach Galligan) who is given a Mogwai for Christmas - but little does he know that there are certain rules to follow when looking after it.
All hell breaks loose when the cuddly creature is splashed with water as it triggers them to multiply.
Not only that, if the Mogwai is given any food after midnight they transform into a scary looking nightmare.
Whilst watching the film, Sheldon says: "This movie baffles me every time we watch it. The instructions are very clear. Don’t feed the gremlins after midnight. Don’t get the gremlins wet.”
They said: “This instruction is only for the care of a Mogwai, not gremlins (the gremlins are formed by Mogwais eating after midnight).
“Sheldon, of all characters, would not mistake Mogwais for Gremlins and he would know the exact wording of the instructions.”

Another fan took to YouTube to address how unimpressed they were with his lack of understanding.
They said: "I'm gonna be ‘that guy’ and say that Gizmo got wet by accident and the gremlins tricked Billy into thinking it was before midnight. So Sheldon's comment doesn't work."
But this isn't the first time fans of the show have pointed out a blunder.
The most recent is from a scene during season one, episode 14, which involves Leonard and Sheldon’s Star Trek figures.
