Teenager, 18, held for murder after man, 20, stabbed to death in Bournemouth


A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 20-year-old was stabbed to death in a seaside bloodbath.

Emergency crews were scrambled to Bournemouth, Dorset, at 10.10pm yesterday and found the victim suffering from knife wounds.

He was rushed to hospital but sadly couldn't be saved and died a short while later.

Police confirmed an 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being quizzed in custody.

The victim's next of kin has been informed of his death and the coroner has been notified.

A cordon was put in place while crime scene investigators examine the scene.

Officers are carrying out house-to-house visits and making CCTV inquiries, Dorset Police said.

etective Chief Inspector Richard Dixey, of the MCIT, said: "We are making extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

"I am appealing for anyone who has witnessed the alleged assault and has not yet spoken to police to please come forward."
