Swansea City's play-off hopes were dealt a big blow on Wednesday evening as they twice relinquished the lead against Nottingham Forest.

Now eighth in the Championship table, the Swans are three points behind sixth-placed Cardiff City, and have two final encounters to secure their fate: against Bristol City on Saturday and Reading on Wednesday.

With just two games remaining, Steve Cooper is not giving up hope just yet.

The head coach said on Wednesday: "We have got to concentrate on trying to get six points. The way this season has gone I don’t think it will be as straightforward as everybody winning their games and it finishing as it is.

"What we have to do is make sure we get the points and try and sneak in, if we can.

"We’re not out of it, we are not giving up."
