Sturgeon's enemies united: Galloway vows to vote TORY in Scots election masterplan

George Galloway slams SNP's 'misgovernance' of Scotland

The lifelong leftists is a fierce critic of the SNP leader and her plan to tear Scotland out of the UK. He founded Alliance for Unity, a pro-union party made up of “all who wish to see the defeat of the SNP and an end to the Neverendum on Scotland’s future”.

Scottish Parliament elections take place using the additional member voting system meaning each voter casts two ballots, the first for constituency MSPs and the second for top up ‘additional member’ MSPs.

On Twitter Mr Galloway posted: “I’m voting Tory with my first vote for the incumbent MSP.

“And then for myself and Bruce Halliday and Jamie Blackett on the list.

"Now THAT is @Alliance4Unity”.

"The SNP are cancerous and we all must put aside our differences to oust them.

“No more division. Make them a dark history rather than future. Vote sensibly.”

The SNP critic has launched a “Save Our Scotland” plea ahead of the crucial Holyrood elections.

His new All for Unity political party has been registered with Scotland’s Electoral Commission.

Last week, Mr Galloway demanded that the Scottish election be postponed.

He lashed out at SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon for being able to appear in daily briefings while Covid restrictions make him unable to campaign fully.

Mr Galloway told Express.co.uk: "Sturgeon is on live television, every week day and has been for almost a year, whilst I'm not allowed to take my soapbox to the neighbouring town, stand in an open space and speak from it.”
