Stacey Solomon has been updating her 4.5 million Instagram followers after her two-year-old son Rex, who she shares with fiance Joe Swash, was rushed to hospital earlier this week.
The Loose Women star revealed the couple had taken Rex to A&E after a "nightmare" fall left him needing stitches in his lip, before he had to go back in for an operation on Tuesday. You can read more on this here.
And now the 31-year-old, who recently announced she was pregnant with her fourth child, has had to take Rex back into hospital after his temperature spiked.
"It's been the longest, most emotional week," an exhausted Stacey told her followers as she wore one fake eyelash and a face mask while sitting on a hospital bed with Rex sleeping on her chest.
She explained: "Aw guys... we are back in triage because Rex's temperature has been spiking tonight.
"They're sure it's all ok but because he's little and post op they won't take any risks, so it looks like we are in for the long haul tonight."
She added: "I honestly don't know how I've even got one eyelash still on."
She also shared an update from hospital this morning, telling fans everything was "ok and stable" as she thanked people for their support.
"It's been a really long night, and a long week and I'm just so grateful for the NHS care and kindness. I'm so grateful that pickle is ok.
"And I'm so grateful for your kindness. Honestly. I'm very tired and emotional but I can't even begin to describe the comfort your messages and kind words brought to me all through the night. They were like the cuddle I really needed at 3am. So thank you.
"I'm going to try so hard to look after us all today. Rex, baby and me, and get us home and safe as soon as possible. Love you all lots."
Last weekend Rex suffered a fall in the garden and hurt his lip.
"We had a nightmare yesterday. Rex fell over in the garden and we were like 'up you get' and then we looked and it was not an up you get situation," Stacey explained at the time.
"He hurt his lip so we took him into A&E and he had some little butterfly strips put on."
Stacey took him back the following night to get stitches and has been updating fans on his recovery on Instagram.
Sharing videos of Rex playing earlier this week, Stacey said: "Rex is doing so well with his stitches.
"One more day of the steri-strips holding the proper stitches in place and then I can let him peel them off for good and just let the stitches be free.
"He's been such a good boy.
"I can tell they're bugging him but he just gets on with it and lets me re-stick them and everything.
"I'm so proud of you pickle."
She added: "Today I'm going to try and rest up. "I feel more traumatised than Rex for this week."
