A pervert cyclist is being hunted by police after he exposed himself in front of a mum and her two children.

The hooded man was with another woman - also on a bike - when he carried out the sickening act in front of the family close who were walking close to a train station.

Police today confirmed the 35-year-old victim was making her way down a pathway with her two kids opposite Hough Green train station, towards the Arley Drive estate in Widnes , when "she was approached by a man who exposed himself".

The cyclist did not say a word as he put the family through the disgusting ordeal.

Officers believe the culprit was with a female cyclist at the time of the indecent and they are keen to trace both of them.

The incident happened around 8.20am on Wednesday, December 18.

The male cyclist who carried out the indecent expose is  described as being white in his 20s with mousy brown unkempt hair.

He was wearing a grey hooded top and black slip on shoes and was riding a bicycle.

PC Gina Beardsmore said: “It is believed he was in company of a woman who is described as white and in her 40’s. She was wearing a white hat and pink gloves, and also riding a bicycle.

“We would urge anyone who saw these two or has any information that my help us find the man responsible to contact us."
