Shaughna Phillips was left fuming after receiving a package from Missguided containing a pen instead of a lip liner.

The Love Island star, 25, took to Twitter to share what the received versus what she actually ordered.

Alongside the snaps of her delivery, she penned: "Ermmmmmmmmm @Missguided is this banter?"

The picture on the left shows the product description of a lip liner on a plastic sachet.

The second picture shows the bag turned over, revealing a black ballpoint pen instead of the lip liner she ordered.

One fan wrote: "They were miss guided packaging that."

Another joked: "Let’s see what it looks like on before we get carried away here..."

To which Shaughna quipped: "Tbf that’s a valid argument," alongside a laughing emoji.

While a third added: "Would've loved to see the packers face when they realised they had a lip liner in their pocket instead of their pen."

A fourth agreed, writing: "I actually can’t cope who packaged this and thought it was correct."

But some fans took it as an opportunity to hit out at the reality TV star, as they accused her of faking the ordeal in a bid to get attention.

One critic wrote: "Literally didn't happen, sat there and put the pen in a bag just for this tweet, love island fame chasers are unrivalled."

Another agreed, writing: "Publicity stunt init."

But Shaughna wasn't having any of it, as she hit back at the critics on Twitter.

She wrote: "Please please please explain to me how me concocting a story that missguided sent me a pen instead of lip liner is going to equate to any additional amount of fame for myself? I just want my lip liner ffs."

Shaughna went on to update fans on the situation, revealing: "Missguided are sending me out a lip liner to replace the biro I was sent."
