Salford Red Devils have announced plans for three more rounds of coronavirus testing in the coming days.
No member of the Salford set-up has tested positive for the virus so far having come up against Hull FC on Sunday, who have reported eight cases.
Nevertheless, the club have told every member of the set-up to self-isolate for the time being, with three more rounds of testing now scheduled.
Matchday staff will be asked to report to training today on August 17 and August 20 in order to undergo further testing as they examine the impact of Sunday’s game further.
The Red Devils have seen their clash with Catalans Dragons cancelled this weekend, ensuring they won't play again until August 29 when they are due to face Leeds Rhinos at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
But, with no positive cases so far, the club will be hoping for more good news when the results come back from today’s tests over the weekend.
