Renée Zellweger is still reeling from her momentous Oscar win earlier this month.

The talented actress, 50, scooped the highly regarded gong for Best Actress in her role as the iconic filmstar, Judy Garland.

Playing Judy, Zellweger did her own singing and dancing in the film’s depiction of the Hollywood legend’s notorious five-week run of shows at Talk of the Town in London, not long before she would die at age 47 in 1969.

Opening up about the shock of winning the Oscar, the stunning starlet admitted that she's still reeling, and is taking a break for a while, during a chat with PEOPLE .

"I’m sitting still for a second," she shared.

"I've got to take care of some dogs and get over this flu and then I’ll think about some other things."

This is Zellweger’s second Oscar win.

The Hollywood star previously won the gong for supporting actress for 2003’s Cold Mountain alongside Jude Law.

As well as that, she was nominated for lead actress for both Bridget Jones’s Diary and Chicago.

Her performance in Judy has also earned Renee a Golden Globe, a SAG Award, a BAFTA, a Spirit Award and numerous other accolades.

In accepting the award, the actress acknowledged her family and thanked them for their support.

"My immigrant folks, who came here with nothing but each other and a belief in the American dream".

She also spoke about the incredible legacy of Judy Garland, and how privileged she was to have the opportunity to play her.

"I have to say, this past year of conversations celebrating Judy Garland, across generations and across cultures has been a really cool reminder that our heroes unite us.

"They are the best among us who inspire us to find the best in ourselves."
