The Scottish Cup showdown between Rangers and Celtic has been pushed back to Sunday, April 18.

The fourth round tie was due to be played at 4pm on Saturday, April 17 , with live coverage on Premier Sports.

After the Royal Family announced that the funeral of Prince Philip would be held at 3pm that day though, organisers were forced into a rethink.

The SFA confirmed on Saturday they'd hold talks with stakeholders about the best way to proceed.

And the governing body has now announced that Rangers vs Celtic will be played on Sunday, April 18, with kick-off at 3pm.

A statement said: "In cognisance of the funeral ceremony of HRH Prince Philip this Saturday, 17 April, the Scottish FA can now confirm revised kick-off times for the weekend’s Scottish Cup fourth-round ties.

"These amendments have been made in consultation with broadcast partners, relevant government officials, Police Scotland and participating clubs.

"St. Mirren versus Inverness Caledonian will be the first fixture of the Fourth Round to be played and will kick-off at 6pm on Friday night. Motherwell versus Greenock Morton will take place an hour later, at 7pm.

"Forfar Athletic versus Dundee United remains unchanged and will be broadcast live by BBC Scotland on Friday at 7.45pm.
