Pregnant Lydia Bright reveals she was hospitalised due to stress of split with ex Lee

PREGNANT Lydia Bright has revealed she was hospitalised due to the stress of her split from Lee Cronin.

The 29-year-old announced she was expecting her first child earlier this year at the same time as revealing they had split up.

Discussing her pregnancy so far in a Q & A on Instagram, she told fans: “The beginning was very hard. I'm so strong now but at 11 weeks I was completely heartbroken and lost. I was so worried that people would judge my situation...

“Before my announcement shoot hit the shelves I was in hospital with sickness (probably due to the stress of it all)...

“People are always quick to talk about the negative side of social media and the press, But I truly believe that my strength came from the support I received from strangers.”

Despite splitting from Lee, he is still a big part of her life and even joined her when she got a baby scan.

She told her followers: “Our baby was very much planned and we are both very excited for her arrival. Lee has been at every scan. Here we are with our midwife Justine.”

Another person quizzed her about Lee and she replied: “So many questions about me and Lee. I have learnt that things don't always plan out the way you hoped and life isn't always perfect and that's ok.

“I get so many messages from women who are in similar situations to me. My only advice is not to be bitter, focus on the miracle and whatever will be will be…..”

Lydia revealed she was having a baby in August of this year and that her little girl would be due in February.

She had previously split from her boyfriend of two years Lee in January but they had reunited when she fell pregnant.

Speaking at the time about their break up, she said: "It's not the ideal situation. I waited quite a long time to try for a baby, waited until I thought it was perfect.

"I've always wanted the fairytale. And it's obviously not worked out exactly how I wanted.

"I'm not closing the door on it completely, but I feel like I just keep getting knocked back. I can't beg somebody to be with me, and I can't beg somebody to love me."
