Police have cordoned off a motor garage with a large number of officers at the scene.

Around 20 police officers from Humberside Police are currently standing guard over the police cordon in Boothferry Road, west Hull.

The large 30 metre-long cordon has shut off to the car garage, near to The Three Tuns pub, to members of the public.

Officers have been at the scene since 12.15pm on Thursday afternoon.

A bystander at the scene said: "There are around 20 police officers at the scene and a lot of people are gathering outside the car garage which is next to the Three Tuns pub.

"I don't know what has happened yet, but they have been there since 12.30pm."
