When it comes to comes to his Christmas festivities, it was no expense spared for Piers Morgan.
The Good Morning Britain host splashed the cash as he hosted a boozy bash on Thursday at The Scarsdale Tavern in London's posh Kensington borough.
Many of Piers' fellow ITV stars were in attendance including co-host Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway, Charlotte Hawkins, Holly Willoughby and Christine Lampard.
The total tab came to more than £4,000 with £4,200 being spent on 60 bottles of Bollinger champagne alone.
Piers tweeted to cricket legend Kevin Pietersen alongside a picture of the receipt: "Morning Kevin @KP24 I asked them to serve only YOU Prosecco, the rest of us had Bollinger..."
However it didn't go down too well with everyone.
"It's fine being wealthy but this rubbing your viewers noses in it," one annoyed follower responded.
Another said: "I honestly can't believe you've posted this."
"Parents are desperately scraping together money to give their children a decent Christmas? It's vulgar. Some stuff should be kept off Twitter," raged a third.
Someone else simply said: "obscene."
But it didn't dampen any spirits as it seems the whole host of celebrity guests had a great night.
Fellow GMB anchor Kate shared a picture to her Instagram page alongside Piers, weather girl Laura Tobin, entertainment reporter Richard Arnold and television director Erron Gordon and used the opportunity to joke about her failed attempt to get back to work after her I'm A Celeb stint.
She wrote: "Hmmm @piersmorgan's Xmas drinks - a dangerous event to go to for a woman who over slept this morning and missed her first @gmb show back after jungle.
".... but am leaving @errongordon @lauratobin100 @tvsrichardarnold & @ranvirtv to drink my share ... am off to bed .... I promise ...."
Piers also shared a selfie with his work pal Susanna adding: "I got The Grinch partying again!" after she gave up the booze.
Other stars in attendance included Gary Lineker - who is know to get it a Twitter spat or two with the controversial host - Charlotte Hawkins, Bruno Tonioli, Sheridan Smith and Georgia Toffolo.
Charlotte shared a selfie of herself and Piers with the caption: "You never know who you're going to bump into at @piersmorgan's Christmas drinks..."
But one notable absence was Phillip Schofield who is said to be locked in a bitter 'feud' with his This Morning co-stars.
There were rumours of a "toxic atmosphere" on set but both Phillip and ITV have refuted the claims.
Scofe said earlier this week: "The atmosphere in our studio is so wonderful. There's such a lovely team. Everyone is lovely.
"What has been said is a shame. When something like this happens it's a shame. But I won't let this ruin my Christmas."
