Peter Andre threatens to remove daughter Millie, 6, from school after clashing with wife Emily over sending her back

PETER Andre has threatened to remove daughter Millie from school - just days after clashing with wife Emily over sending her back.

The married couple previously disagreed over Government plans to send selected year groups back in the latest episode of their new reality show, Life With The Andres.

Now, the singer has told The Sun that he is ready to pull six-year-old Millie - who is set to return tomorrow - out if he sees anything go wrong.

He said: "Millie was meant to start school on Monday but they've had to do staggered starts, so they officially start tomorrow.

"I'm still very anxious about it and I'm still 100% not happy about it. I feel that I have to compromise with Emily on this. It's not necessarily something I would do if the choice was solely down to me and I'm secretly very happy J and P are not going to back to school."

The dad-of-four added: "I'm very anxious about Millie going back to school, but I'm going to do it. If I see any sign at all of anything remotely going wrong, she's out. What I'm hoping is that Emily's advice is the right advice.

"We have definitely not agreed on this, but I am willing to compromise because I feel that in this situation, she knows better than me. It's not because my wife says so and that's what I want to do. As a doctor, I have to take her opinion seriously."

It comes days after Peter expressed his concerns over sending Millie back in their new reality show.

As lockdown restrictions have begun to ease, the first big changes are the reopening of schools, as well as gatherings of six people now being allowed.

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 are expected to return to school on Monday June 1, while secondary schools will welcome back some year 10 and year 12 students from June 15.

The dad-of-four disagreed with trainee doctor Emily, 30, over the kids returning to school.

He told viewers: "We very rarely have opposite views - but I don’t think they should go back tomorrow and Emily thinks they should.

“The only reason I’m going with what Emily says is because she’s a doctor.

"If it was up to me I’d say no."

He later said to wife Emily in the garden: "Me and you have different views on this ... Even if there's one tiny bit of risk, why would I wanna put my kids in that position?

"I feel like we're putting them in a situation where they are the guinea pigs."

"I have got this fear of the unknown, and just think they've all been happy here, safe here."

Peter has been taking care of the kids while Emily goes to work for the NHS.

The 30-year-old doctor reasoned: "There's a risk when you step outside your front door of anything.

"I understand for you it feels like this big fear that is outside of our control. The point is there is no right or wrong answer, it's on balance what you think is the right thing to do."
