Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen has not pressed pause on her speaking tour - named Adventures of the Yorkshire Shepherdess - amid her marriage crisis.

The reality TV star took the stage on Wednesday afternoon and again in the evening at Huntington Hall in Worcester hours after she and her husband Clive confirmed they are facing troubles in their relationship, the theatre box office confirmed to the Mirror.

She put on a brave face and went ahead with the shows - which were rescheduled after having to be cancelled amid the pandemic - and is set to once again share her life story on Sunday at Scarborough Spa Theatre with a matinee and evening performance.

Yesterday, Our Yorkshire Farm stars Amanda Owen and her husband Clive released a statement amid reports speculating they are having relationship issues.

In a joint statement, they said: "With the TV show and the books we've always aimed to show the reality of life on the farm, and just like any marriage we have our stresses and strains, coupled with all the complexities of what we do on the farm and bringing up nine kids.

"We're a normal family and we've never said our marriage is perfect. Unfortunately, the constant intrusion into our lives from the media has amplified a rocky patch that we're going through," the couple told PA news agency.

"We ask that the media respect our privacy as we work through this."

The couple speaking out came following reports claiming that the husband and wife are "battling to save their marriage" after 21 years together.

Mum-of-eight Amanda, 47, has been spending time away from the family at their nearby rental property, it has been claimed.

Meanwhile, 66-year-old Clive is said to be "desperate" to repair their relationship.

A source told The Sun: "It’s incredibly sad. Amanda and Clive are two hugely popular figures here in the Dales, and no one saw this coming.

“Clive loves Amanda to bits and adores her, and fears the marriage may be failing even though he desperately doesn’t want it to. He fears they will divorce."

They continued to say that Clive wanted them to stay together for Christmas but after then "the decision is very much in Amanda's hands".

Amanda's publicist previously told the publication on October 12: "Amanda and Clive have not parted ways and Amanda has not moved out of the family home.”

However, Amanda was reportedly seen near their rental property, with a source suggesting that the split has "become the talk of the village".

They continued: "Obviously everyone around them hopes they can work things out, and 21 years of largely happy marriage won’t end up playing out in the divorce courts.”

Amanda and Clive are parents to Raven, 20, Reuben, 17, Miles, 15, Edith, 12, Violet, ten, Sidney, nine, Annas, seven, Clemmie, five, and Nancy, four (
