The countdown is now over and the trophies are ready to be handed out at this year's NTAs.

Well known faces from the British TV industry will descend on the O2 Arena in London for this year's National Television Awards , which will be hosted by new presenter David Walliams, who replaces usual host Dermot O'Leary.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on ITV from 7.30pm and The National Television Award nominees for this year, as well as Ant and Dec, include big dramas like Killing Eve and Peaky Blinders and Ru Paul's Drag Race UK, which is on the shortlist for the first time.

This year's Special Recognition Award recipient has been revealed as Sir Michael Palin, who will also be presented with his award on the night.
