Meghan Markle releases 40x40 birthday message on Archewell
Speaking to friend and US actor, Melissa McCarthy, the Duchess of Sussex was asked if she was appearing in a special reunion of the hit show to mark her birthday. Laughing at the suggestion, Meghan questioned why she would be appearing in the series to mark her special day. Although questioning McCarthy's response, Meghan didn't completely dismiss the idea as she loves the TV programme which she featured in for seven years.
McCarthy said: "Are you finally going to do a Suits reunion?"
Meghan said in response: "I love Suits but why would do a Suits reunion for my birthday?"
In response, McCarthy added: "Why would the cast of Friends do a reunion for my birthday?"
Meghan then remarks the Friends reunion was to celebrate a historical landmark in response to McCarthy's birthday.

Before Meghan revealed the project, McCarthy also quizzed whether the Duchess was to announce a new tattoo or even another photoshoot under a tree.
The video was shot in the pair's respective homes via a video call and also features Prince Harry.
Towards the end of the video, Meghan reveals her project which is for successful women to lend 40 minutes of their time to mentor a woman who is going back into the workforce after the pandemic.
The project, titled 40x40 was uploaded to the Archewell website and has already received support from Adele, poet Amanda Gorman, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and fashion designer Stella McCartney.

In an accompanying statement on the website, Meghan makes the case for women to receive support from others on a range of cultural disciplines.
The statement reads: "In reflecting on my 40th birthday and the many things I am grateful for, I’m struck that time is among our greatest and most essential gifts: Time with our loved ones, time doing the things we love, time spent learning, laughing, growing, and the sacred time we have on this earth.
"Amongst the most valuable gifts of time is also time spent in service to others knowing that it can contribute to incredible change.
"To that last point, and with my 40th lap around the sun in mind, it made me wonder: what would happen if we all committed 40 minutes to helping someone else or to mentoring someone in need?

"And then what would happen if we asked our friends to do the same?
"In the past two years, and in large part because of the COVID-19 pandemic, tens of millions of women around the world have left the workforce, including over two million women in the US So many of these women are also shouldering the brunt of the crisis when it comes to unpaid labour, including schooling and caring for family members.
"And the latest research shows that fewer women than men will regain work as we recover from the pandemic.
"I believe mentorship is one way to help women regain confidence and rebuild their economic strength, and for my birthday, I have asked 40 friends, activists, athletes, artists, and world leaders to help kickoff a global effort by contributing 40 minutes of mentorship to support women re-entering the workforce.
