In fact, UN Women reports that women have been disproportionately affected as they make up the majority of the workforce in the industries that have been hit the hardest like hospitality, entertainment, and retail.

Many mothers have also had to give up their jobs during lockdowns in order to home-school their children.

As mothers, Princess Eugenie and Meghan are likely to resonate with the pressures that have been weighing on women over the pandemic.
