The name for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's adorable black Labrador's has finally been revealed.

The couple welcomed the rescue pup into their home shortly after they married in May 2018 while living in Frogmore Cottage.

Until now, many have speculated on what the pooch might be called.

Now in new biography on the couple, Finding Freedom, it has been revealed their adorable choice of name is Pula.

The name is likely to hold special significance to the couple as 'Pula' is the official currently of Botswana - the location of their first holiday together while dating in 2016. 

Harry whisked Meghan to the African country as a surprise for her 36th birthday, with many saying the trip was a chance for them to get to know one another better.

Meghan and Harry returned to Botswana in 2017 where they worked with Dr. Mike Chase of Elephants Without Borders.

They learnt more about the conservation efforts and the protection of elephants in the country - going on to upload images of their trip to their Instagram the following year after saying their 'I dos'.

Meghan and Harry began their romance in 2016 when she visited London.

In details revealing the "palpable attraction" they felt towards one another, the new book looks at the fairytale beginning of their love - through to their rocky exit from the royal family.

On their first meeting in trendy private members club Soho House in Dean Street, London, Meghan and Harry bonded over their "passions for wanting to make change for good", the biography claims.

They were also said to be so engrossed in one another they forgot to eat nibbles that had been placed in front of them.

Meghan is said to have sipped on Martini cocktails while Harry drank beer as they spoke about their plans for charity work in the future - becoming to caught up in one another they even failed to notice the "rather rude wallpaper featuring photos of women's private parts adorning the walls".

After their first three-hour date came to an end, Meghan and Harry said their goodbyes and went their separate ways - without even a goodbye kiss "despite the palpable attraction between them".

Authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote that "there was no goodbye kiss, no expectation, just a hint something was there and they hoped to see each other again soon".

Both Meghan and Harry were said to have confided in friends about their feelings, with Harry telling friends he had to 'up his game' and "sit down and make sure I've got good chat".

Meanwhile Meghan, who was fresh out of a two-year relationship, reportedly told friends she thought the relationship could "have legs" and asked pals if she 'sounded crazy'.
