Ben Farrow, 29, has made thousands from selling his clothes online

Ben, who lives in Beverley, spent years working in retail, and left his former job at River Island after "falling out of love" with retail work during lockdown.

The 29-year-old, who is dating a Humberside Police officer, says he has always loved fashion, holding a specific obsession with vintage pieces.

For years he would resell new and used vintage or pre-loved clothing online, but now the hobby which started in his bedroom, has turned into a successful business.

Selling items on popular sites eBay and Depop, Ben says he now makes "thousands" from being the Yorkshire Flipper.

He has his own office where he runs the business from and makes up to £2000 a month in sales.

Ben said: "This has gone from a little hobby of mine making a few extra quid on the side from my own bedroom (when I first started) - to now having my own storage/office."

Ben says he has always had an eye for fashion, and now his small bedroom hobby with clothes has turned into a success

And the online sales sensation has since been approached for a television show. He will appear on a brand new Channel Four programme later this year.

Whilst he currently can't reveal much, Ben added: "It’s going to be quite big! It’s all wrapped up now and there hoping for the show to air around November time."

Hull Live will share updates on the TV show upon its release date.
