To help fans celebrate Scotland and England meeting for the first time in an international football tournament since 1996, McDonald’s has rolled its menu prices back to what they were 25 years ago.
For one day only on Friday, June 18, the oldest international fixture in the world will be celebrated with a discount on two menu favourites.
The McMuffin will be reduced to 99p, giving customers a saving of £1, and the Big Mac discounted to just £1.79 - £1.70 less than the usual price.
With breakfast, lunch and dinner covered, all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the game - if you can.
The day’s amazing offers are available exclusively on the My McDonald’s App - simply download it here to get access to Friday’s deals and more.
If the reduced prices aren’t enough to give you a hit of ‘90’s nostalgia, the brand is also rolling back its social channels to 1996 with a retro takeover for the day.
Fans can expect a catalogue of ‘90’s tweets, trends, topics, and discounts posted across all of McDonald’s social media channels.
When eating in-restaurant, customers can use the My McDonald’s App to have their food delivered directly to them whether dining inside or out.
Drive-thru customers can also use Click & Serve for seamless, contact-free ordering. Simply place your order via the app, arrive at your local restaurant and have your food freshly made and brought out to your car.
Make sure you take the mobile phone you placed your McDonald’s order on with you as they use GPS to track your location so they know you’ve arrived at the restaurant. The app will also give you a unique order code to quote when you get there and payments aren’t processed until you confirm this, making it hassle free, secure food ordering.
