Man Utd star Bruno Fernandes can’t wait to play with ‘one of best players in world’ Paul Pogba in Prem restart

BRUNO FERNANDES says he can’t wait to play with Paul Pogba.

The pair are yet to play with each other after Fernandes’ move to United in January from Sporting Lisbon.

There are doubts over Pogba’s long-term future at Old Trafford.

But with coronavirus likely to cause chaos in the transfer market this summer, he could yet be staying for another season.

Pogba looks to be fit to face Tottenham in United’s first game back later this month.

And Fernandes admits he is looking forward to linking up with the Frenchman in midfield very soon.

He told Mario Djurovski on Instagram Live: “I think Paul is one of the best players in Manchester and in the world.

“He was injured for a lot of time. The opportunity to play side to side with him is fantastic because you want to play with the best players you can.”

Odion Ighalo recently revealed Pogba was back in training and looking sharp after signing on himself for another six months at Old Trafford.

The striker told United’s website: “Everybody is looking good.

“Running, working hard and playing football. Little two-a-sides and doing some ball work.

“Everyone is getting better and better. Everyone is back, even Paul is back training normally and Rashford is backing training as normal.

“Everyone is training normally and full and all that, so the squad is full and everyone is ready, I think.”

Man United ‘still being haunted’ by David Moyes and it was a ‘mistake’ to replace Ferguson with him, says Javier Hernández
