Manchester City get their latest Champions League bid underway tonight, with FC Porto the visitors to the Etihad.

Just two months after City's disappointing exit at the hands of Lyon in last season's quarter-finals, the Blues are back in action in Europe in a season UEFA had initially barred them from competing in. However, a successful appeal with CAS allowed City to partake in this season's Champions League, and Pep Guardiola's men will be looking for a strong start to their group fixtures.

Guardiola will be without Kevin De Bruyne, Aymeric Laporte, Benjamin Mendy and Gabriel Jesus, although Aleks Zinchenko could play for the first time this season after recovering from injury.

Sergio Aguero made his first appearance of the season in the weekend win over Arsenal, but he is the only fit senior striker so may not play the full 90 minutes tonight as City manage his return.
