Manchester City are tracking a player who has already made his mark at the Etihad Stadium this season, according to reports.
RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku scored a memorable Champions League hat-trick against City - albeit in a losing cause - during a 6-3 defeat for the German outfit earlier this month.
Nkunku has three years left to run on his contract and has attracted interest from across Europe.
Indeed, the 23-year-old - who progressed through the academy ranks at Paris Saint-Germain - is thought to be on the radar of key figures responsible for transfers at Liverpool, Bayern Munich and PSG themselves.
According to Fichajes, those big-hitters could have further competition for his signature now that City have taken note of his talents. Nkunku, yet to be capped at full international level by France, has scored 18 goals and provided 30 assists in 92 games for the Bundesliga side.
He signed for them from PSG in 2019 and THAT treble against City was the highlight his career there to date.
Meanwhile, there is 'no chance' that Pep Guardiola will allow Bernardo Silva to leave the Etihad Stadium.
That's according to former Premier League midfielder Carlton Palmer, who expects the Portugal star to remain at City after being granted some early-season minutes.
Guardiola had suggested that Silva wanted to move on during the summer transfer window.
However, a deal failed to materialise - amid reported interest from La Liga champions Atletico Madrid - and the 61-cap international was one of the stand-out performers during the eye-catching victory against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this Saturday lunchtime.
Speaking to Transfer Tavern, Palmer said: "I think he just wants more game-time. I don't think for one minute Man City want to let him go. I mean, he's a talented boy.
"If he gets minutes on the football pitch, I think he'll be happy."
