When I heard LUSH was moving onto ASOS I thought it was great, but how?

I've been to the biggest LUSH store in the world and found myself dizzy from the sheer amount of products, were they getting all of them over onto ASOS?

Well no. They're not. But they do have an exclusive bath bomb and premade sets at prices so reasonable you could have your bathroom filled with LUSH goodies for far less than you'd think.

I was lucky enough to try out some of ASOS's LUSH collection, and honestly? I was blown away.

With big curly hair, sensitive skin and a general love of baths, I had faith but was a little bit nervous about if the products would really live up to my expectations.

They did.

Best For Big Hair - £18.50

Lush x Asos discovery set best for big hair
The Best for Big Hair Discovery Set blew me away, with each item working better than I expected

I have curly hair, I'd say it was 3b for those of us who are familiar with the scale - but I also have quite a dry scalp which we all know can lead to dandruff.

So as I looked through the range at ASOS and saw the Big Hair discovery set I couldn't help but get excited. I've tried out so many different hair products and shampoos over the years to find a good balance for both curls and scalp - could this be it?

I started with the Roots treatment (100g), I separated my curls and rubbed the tingly scalp treatment across my head. It didn't take long for me to feel it starting to do something - but I left it on for the advised 20 minutes as I ran myself a bath.

The shampoo looked a little strange but gives a decadent hair experience at home

After time was up, I soaked my hair to try out the Big shampoo (75g). I thought it looked a little gross to begin with... The salt crystals making it look quite goopy and gross.

But wow - feeling the salt dissolve as I rubbed it through my hair and across my scalp made my evening feel very luxurious.

The American Cream conditioner (100g) had a sweet strawberry smell and more impressively left my hair silky soft afterwards. Having curls I find sometimes conditioners don't quite work as well as I'd hope after being washed out (I am a big fan of leave in conditioners) but my comb slid through my hair afterwards leaving me thoroughly impressed.

I will definitely be investing in this again once I've finished these tubs, this discovery set really is brilliant for big hair.

Best for Dream Skin - £11.50

Best for Dream Skin lush x asos discovery set
The Best for Dream Skin set left my skin feeling so smooth and soft

I have fairly sensitive skin (which can be quite annoying at times) but I am a big fan of an indulgent bath and evening of pampering myself.

The Best for Dream Skin discovery set turned out to be quite perfect as a result.

Coming with my favourite Lush bath bomb, the Butterball, I had a feeling it was going to be a hit - I was even more impressed as I tried the rest of the products.

The Dream Cream lotion left my skin super soft

The 100g block of Sultana of Soap was one item I wasn't sure about - I find soaps can make my skin feel really dry - but it was brilliant. My skin felt really soft after use, although it was strange having a sultana fall off as I used it.

After I towelled off, I used some Dream Cream Lotion (45g) on my arms. I knew I had a panel appearance the following day so I didn't want to risk a big reaction if it didn't suit my skin.

But it was lovely, the smell was sweet and made me feel like I'd walked into a Lush store. The next day my skin was still soft, the people at ASOS making these discovery sets really know what they're doing.

LUSH X ASOS Exclusive Bath Bomb Duo Set - £10

Lush x Asos White Noise bathbomb
The ASOS exclusive bath bomb makes for a gorgeous soak

The question on all of our minds - what is the new Lush bath bomb like? It's called White Noise and it's lovely.

White Noise leaves your bath water a glittery pale blue that had me feels blissful.

The blue, silver and white bath bomb has a mild scent of cedarwood oil, Sicilian red mandarin oil and patchouli oil.

Leaving a little glitter in it's wake, it's a lovely bath experience - I don't particularly enjoy the ones that leave petals floating in the water so I was quite impressed.

The set of two bath bombs also includes the Lush classic Intergalactic which uses peppermint oil, grapefruit oil, vetivert oil and cedarwood oil to makes its signature scent.

I love an evening of indulging in the bath and this is definitely one way to achieve it.

Now, I know not everyone has hair and skin like mine, and it turns out so does the team behind the Lush and ASOS collaboration. There are discovery sets for locs, clear skin and getting ready for bed.

One great thing with the discovery sets is you don't have to dig through all the different products, you get a few that a carefully selected for the task at hand.

I know I'll be going straight to ASOS for sets from now on - you can shop the full range here.
