Lucifer star Tom Ellis reportedly called the police to his Los Angeles house after a strange package was sent to the property he shares with his wife Meaghan Oppenheimer last month.
The 42-year-old actor, who plays Lucifer Morningstar in the American series, had to get law enforcement to investigate a 'glitter package' that turned up on their doorstep, according to TMZ.
The couple are said to have called the Los Angeles Police Department and filed a report after finding the mysterious package 'creepy'.
The publication reports that the so-called 'glitter package' was just a box filled with glitter and was allegedly addressed to Meaghan, not her famous husband - which caused the couple concern.
The LAPD's Threat Management team are said to be working on the case and have reportedly found a lead on a suspect.
However, it remains unclear where the parcel came from.
The Mirror has contacted Tom's representative for a comment.
The actor is famous for appearing in Fox's series Lucifer - which premiered in January 2016.
The sixth season is yet to air, but it is expected to launch this year or in May 2022.
In recent weeks, Tom's ex-wife Tamzin Outhwaite has shared that her children have not been able to see their dad for more than six months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The actress - who has starred in EastEnders, Hotel Babylon and New Tricks - shares kids Florence, 12, and eight-year-old Marnie - with her ex-husband Tom.
But due to the hunk living across the pond in Los Angeles, the girls have been unable to see their father due to travel restrictions.
