Manchester United fans are loving the bold decision made by interim manager Ralf Rangnick during his first game against Crystal Palace.

Having replaced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer until the end of this season, the innovative German stepped into the dugout for his maiden taste of Premier League action.

There were no surprises before kick-off as Rangnick named an unchanged starting XI.

Cristiano Ronaldo was joined in attack by Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford as those players who hit back to beat Arsenal - under the departed Michael Carrick - were handed a first audition for Rangnick.

In the absence of Jesse Lingard through injury, though, there was one eye-catching inclusion in the dugout with academy graduate Anthony Elanga.

The 19-year-old - who has seven goals in eight game for Sweden U21s - was then summoned from the bench in place of Marcus Rashford for the final 25 minutes.

Needless to say, it was a surprise decision which went down superbly with fans during the 1-0 win.
